The Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) and IREX have the honor of inviting you to attend the second annual international symposium, “Reclaiming the Digital Information Space,” organized within the USAID Media Literacy project “YouThink.” The event will be held on February 23 (Thursday), 2023 starting at 09:30 am (CEST) in Hotel Aleksandar Palace, Skopje.
ICS organizes the symposium to investigate how media and information literacy can help youth not only to trust media but also learn to use new media tools to influence positive societal changes.
The event will bring together academics, practitioners, social activists, and researchers from the USA, EU, and the Western Balkans, to discuss different approaches to studying key media literacy issues, how media literacy impacts society, as well as the role of media literacy in promoting civic engagement and digital citizenship.
