ICS and the Institute for Hybrid Warfare Research of Croatia have signed a memorandum of cooperation

The Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) in Skopje and the Institute for Hybrid Warfare Research (IIHS) in Zagreb have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation, through which the two institutions formalize their partnership in the field of academic and research activities related to hybrid threats, democracy, and the resilience of the information space.

The document envisages the development of joint initiatives that will contribute to strengthening democratic practices, transparency, and responsible information dissemination. ICS and IIHS will collaborate on a range of activities, including joint academic and professional research; initiatives to counter disinformation and resist proactive influences in the public sphere; exchange of analyses, methodologies, experiences, and contemporary fact-checking techniques; as well as the preparation and sharing of educational, professional, and academic materials.

Through this memorandum, ICS and IIHS lay the foundation for long-term cooperation in the field of contemporary security challenges, media literacy, and the fight against disinformation.
