The publication “The Gordian Knot of Harmful Narratives in Politics and Media” is the final output of the comprehensive research “Determining Political Harmful Narratives (HARM-TIVE)”, conducted by the Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) in cooperation with a large number of researchers and experts in the field of communication and media, journalists and media professionals.  It aims to present and elaborate the harmful narratives in the Macedonian political discourse, using various case studies which were identified during the nine-month monitoring. The publication examines in detail sixteen political harmful narratives, summarises the findings about violation of standards and principles of political communication and media reporting, while offering recommendations for the political actors and the journalists.
