Improving the transparency and accountability of the Macedonian Government by supporting effective, clear and strategic communications.

Expected Outcome

Improvement in the capability of communications teams across the Government of Macedonia, with communications activity better coordinated and fewer instances of messaging and scheduling conflict between government departments.

Project activities:

• Developing and evaluating the effectiveness of the grid coordination process – ensuring all ministries across government are active participants in planning and coordination of Government activities
• Defining internal communication processes and strategies of the Government
• Advancing the initial OASIS training to enable the Government to effectively plan communications campaigns around the priorities highlighted in their communications strategy
• Professionalisation of government communication – ensuring that every communicator within the Government is clear on their roles and responsibilities and how they can help the Government achieve its ambitious goals
• Building the capability of key ministries to deal effectively with crisis, by collaboratively establishing clear processes and delivering appropriate training
