“Clear it up!” is a campaign of the Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) and the Alliance for advocacy and lobbying, which focuses on two specific issues:
- water resources management (how to use and protect water resources); and
- oversight against excessive use of natural resources (mineral resources, forests, soil, and water).
The “Clear it up!” campaign aims to raise citizens’ awareness of these issues, to increase the influence of citizens and organizations in adopting or changing public policies, as well as enabling broader dialog with the competent institutions in the policy-making process. This campaign is realised with the support from and joint activities with the Alliance for advocacy and lobbying, which is comprised from NGOs, initiatives and activists, faculties and schools, municipalities and media. Everyone affected by the devastation of the natural resources in Macedonia can join the campaign.
The campaign for advocacy and lobbying “Clear it up!” is conducted in the framework of the project “Connecting the Dots: Improved Policies Through Citizen Engagement”, financed by the British Embassy in Skopje.
