Critical Thinking and Analytical Writing

Course description

Critical thinking is a process by which we build and support our attitudes and beliefs and value the strength of other people’s arguments in real life situations. Analytical writing, on the other hand, is a skill acquired through critical and analytical reading and thinking, by decomposing the observed subject and analyzing the relevant sections. Through practical exercises and discussion, you learn to identify and construct arguments, and to apply the skills and techniques of argumentation and analysis.

What you’ll learn
  • You will develop habits to assess and defend the rationality of your own views, beliefs and values, as well as the attitudes, values ​​and beliefs of others;
  • You will approach problems from different angles and recognize the complexity of the most controversial issues;
  • You will appreciate the value of critical thinking when making decisions.
How will you improve

Study subject-by-subject, through individual learning and teamwork in real-life situations, under the mentorship of renowned professors from Macedonia and abroad. If your commitments do not allow you to attend regular classes, learn in the ICS’s virtual classroom at any time and from anywhere.
