Sonia Trajkovska, journalist. She graduated on Interdisciplinary Studies in Journalism at the “Iustinianus Primus” Faculty of Law in Skopje. Since 2022, she has been working at the Institute of Communication Studies in Skopje, as the Editor of the platforms “Just Ask” and “Doma”. She worked as a journalist/editor in the portals “360 degrees” and “NovaTV” and “Kanal 5” TV station. For several years she worked in the Macedonian service of “Voice of America” in Washington, and then as a correspondent from Skopje, as a correspondent for the “Tanjug” agency, editor of the internal political editorial office of the Macedonian News Agency – MIA and as a journalist in the weekly “Focus” and “Macedonian Radio”.

She participated in several research activities in the media sphere, including a co-authorship of the Monitoring of Democracy in Macedonia (MODEM) of ICS, which focuses on monitoring the media content of national televisions, qualitative analysis of media reporting and activities to raise critical awareness of the forms of political manipulation in the media and informing the public about political pluralism and free political debate.
