Marjan Nikolov has a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a Masters degree in International Economics and Finance from the Faculty of Economics in Reykjavik, Iceland. He is chairman of the Center for Economic Analysis and an independent onsultant. He is actively working in several economic areas, such as macroeconomic modeling, econometrics and statistics, fiscal decentralization and public-private partnership. He worked on capacity building of public administration and local government in the Republic of Macedonia through reviewing and reengineering tax procedures, analisys of fiscal capacities, preparation of strategies and feasibility studies, etc. Nikolov worked as a lecturer at several faculties in Macedonia, he authored several publications and participated in numerous conferences, seminars and trainings.
