Pedja Ashanin Gole, M.Sc., has a master's degree in the field of "Strategic public relations planning in the public sector" at the management studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He graduated in Political Sciences at the Faculty of Sociology, Political Sciences and Journalism at the University of Ljubljana. He has more than 20 years of experience as a strategic communications consultant and director for strategic marketing and communications in the public, government and private sector in Slovenia and abroad.
In public relations, he specializes in communications in the public sector, crisis and conflict communications, situation management, strategic communications planning, corporate communications, negotiation strategies and consulting services for top management in the field of strategic communications.
Ashanin Gole is a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Business and Social Sciences DOBA in Maribor, where he teaches Strategic Public Relations Planning and Situation and Crisis Communications Management. In addition, he teaches at various faculties, business schools and at domestic, foreign and international professional conferences.
He is the author of numerous scientific and expert articles on public relations, communication management, strategic management and strategic marketing. Co-author on the case study book on public relations in Slovenia in Slovenian and English "Slovenian Public Relations - Theory and Practice: 1990-2000". He is a guest editor for the scientific sociological magazine Theory and Practice, the scientific marketing magazine Academy MM and other professional publications.
He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Slovenia (PRSS), which he presided in 1997/1998, later on assumed the position of Secretary General from 1998 to 2000 and Vice President from 2000 to 2003, and since 2006 he is a PRSS Ambassador. He is co-founder of the Slovenian Public Relations Conference, where for 8 years he was the program director of the conference, and of the regional professional conference "Proactive", which is held every year in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ashanin Gole is a member of the International Association for Business Communicators (IABC) in the United States; a lifelong member of the IABC Fellow 500 Club Memebership, co-founder of the IABC Department in Slovenia (in 1996/1997 he was President) and of the Sector for Public Relations of the Government and the Public Sector of Slovenia.
He has won several professional awards and recognitions in Slovenia and abroad, among which.
- IABC Chapter Management Award of Excellence - Professional Development, Marketing and Strategic Communications;
- Silver Award, awarded by the Slovenian Advertising Festival;
- Bronze Effie Award (Efficiency in Communication);
- Recognition of merit for the development of public relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Recognition of merit for the development of the public relations profession in Slovenia;
- Special reward for achievement in public relations (awarded on the 20th anniversary of PRSS).
Zoran Dimitrovski, M.Sc. (1964) is a journalist, political analyst and editor with many years of experience. In 1995, on a scholarship from the Open Society Foundation Macedonia, he received his Masters Degree in Political Sciences at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, on the topic "Transformation of the Public Sphere in Eastern Europe: Monopolisation of the Media in the Process of Transition to Democracy in the Republic of Macedonia".
He started working in journalism in 1985 in Studentski zbor and Mlad Borec, where in the late 1980s and early 1990's, together with a group of young journalists, he participated in the Macedonian democratic spring, giving his own contribution with his political analyses.
He graduated in journalism at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in 1987. He was the editor-in-chief of Mlad Borec (1991), assistant editor-in-chief of Nova Makedonija (1999-2000), editor-in-chief of Vecer (2000-2001), correspondent of NIP Nova Makedonija edition from Washington, USA (2001-2004), deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly Fokus (1995-1999, 2005-2010), editor of the weekly Publika, a supplement to the daily Dnevnik (2010-2011), editor-in-chief of Dnevnik (2011- 2012), editor-in-chief of Nova Makedonija.
Since 2014, Dimitrovski has been editor-in-chief of the weekly Fokus.
